  • Can I create a QLI Yocto Image on an ARM based machine?
Creating a complete Yocto image on an ARM based machine is possible, however the build operations are not fully optimized for an ARM based system. ARM based targets are not known to be fast when building whole OS image builds. We recommend a developer to use a x86 host to create a QLI (Yocto) based image.
  • Can I compile the QLI kernel or rootfs image from within the IQ8/IQ9 device (SBC mode)?
