If the storage is empty or corrupted, the device switches to the EDL mode upon power-on. To verify if the device is in EDL mode, run the following command: 
PCAT -Devices
The figure shows the device state as EDL.

When EDL is detected, load the build using Qualcomm Product Configuration Assistant Tool (PCAT).
