The following features are supported for the various storage types on Qualcomm® Linux®.

UFS device features

The following UFS device features are supported.
FeatureDescription
Number of lanesOnly 2 lanes are supported.
GearHigh-speed (HS) Gear 1, 2, 3, and 4 are supported.
Low-power modeSupports link hibernate and device sleep modes. For more information about the supported modes, see UFS power management states.
Embedded UFS deviceSupports only the embedded UFS device. Hot plug isn’t supported.

eMMC features

The following eMMC features are supported.

Sleep modeSupports clock gating and auto suspend features. See eMMC power management states for more information.
Command queuingSupports multiple commands to be sent to the storage device at once.

SD card features

The following SD card features are supported.

NVMe features

The following NVMe features are supported.

Lanes4 lanes are supported for NVMe over the PCIe port (PCIe1).
InterfaceNVMe provides a high-speed serial interface.
ProtocolThe NVMe protocol optimizes NAND flash and next-generation SSD technologies, enabling efficient command processing and reducing overhead.
