Qualcomm® Launcher shows the following warning when the connected device does not match the selected Development Kit:
Device mismatch warning
First, verify that the correct Development Kit is selected and connected. If the warning persists despite the correct device being connected, it is usually caused by the device being claimed by another process on the host.

Device attached to WSL

The most common cause is the device being attached to WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) via usbipd. To check, run the following in PowerShell or Command Prompt:
If your device appears with state Attached, it is currently attached to WSL. Detach it before using Qualcomm® Launcher:
Replace <busid> with the bus ID of your device from the usbipd list output. Once detached, Windows detects the device correctly and the mismatch warning does not appear.

Other causes

If the device is not attached to WSL, try the following:
  1. Disconnect and reconnect the device.
  2. Close any other application that may be using the device.
  3. Relaunch Qualcomm® Launcher.
